The presentation was made by female candidates. In view of this, the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister have fully assured that no candidates will be harmed in the context of reservation, while women should take their own movement.

As per GR dated August 1, 2018, women candidates in the reserved category have been excluded from the General Merit. Against this, more than 100 women have been raiding at the Satyagraha Cantonment in Gandhinagar for almost 64 days. On the other hand, the women candidates of the disagreeable category, Gandhinagar, came out and filed an application not to cancel the GR. The government has given 33 per cent reservation to women in the recruitment of police, however, according to the circular dated August 1, 2018, the selection will be made only in the category in which the female candidate has filled the form. That is, if a woman has filled out the form in the OBC category, she cannot be found in the General category. Due to this GR, the situation was such that women candidates in some reserved category had more makers than women in general category and EWS category but they were deprived of jobs when they did not get in the general category.
